About Oleg
Oleg Bordiian is a seasoned expert in the physical security industry, with a career spanning over 18 years. Starting in 2006 in Ukraine, Oleg began as a door-to-door sales representative specializing in analog video surveillance systems. He quickly expanded his expertise by transitioning to hands-on security systems installation, gaining practical field experience with cameras, alarm systems, and access control solutions.
As his career progressed, Oleg took on leadership roles in business development and management. Among his notable achievements in Ukraine:
Vidimost.com — Co-owner and head of sales for a security systems distribution company, with a portfolio of products from Dahua Technology.
Pipl.ua — Founder and CEO of Ukraine's leading online store for security systems from 2017 to 2022. Under Oleg's leadership, the store became a market leader generating annual revenues of up to $2 million. The project also launched an educational YouTube channel that grew to 50,000 subscribers.
In 2022, Oleg relocated to Canada, where he served as a content marketing producer at Inaxsys.com, a Canadian distributor of security systems. There, he built a library of over 300 technical videos and product reviews for their YouTube channel, growing it to 4,500 subscribers.
Since October 2023, Oleg has been building Pipl Systems — a B2B platform that helps businesses across North America find and connect with the right security integrators. Drawing on an extensive network built over nearly two decades of working with international manufacturers, distributors, and installers, Oleg developed a directory and matching system that makes it easier for companies to find vetted, experienced professionals in their area.
Oleg's expertise spans sales, installation, distribution, and procurement management. He has collaborated with both international and local manufacturers, building a broad professional network across Europe, North and Latin America, and Asia. A regular attendee at major industry events — including CPSE (Shenzhen), Intersec (Dubai), IFSEC (London), ISC West (Las Vegas), ISC East (New York), Security Canada, and CANASA — he stays at the forefront of emerging technologies and market trends.
With a foundation in technical engineering and additional business training from KMBS, Oleg is committed to sharing practical knowledge and helping security professionals grow their businesses.
