Terms of Service

1. Agreement to Terms

By accessing or using the platform operated by Pipl Security Systems Corporation ("Pipl Systems," "we," "us," or "our") at pipl.systems (the "Platform"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, you may not use the Platform. These Terms apply to all visitors, users, and companies listed on the Platform.

2. Description of Service

Pipl Systems is a B2B directory platform for the physical security industry. The Platform provides company listings for manufacturers, distributors, and system integrators; user reviews; media content; and related services. We also offer premium listing services and media production services for security companies.

3. User Accounts

Certain features of the Platform require account access (e.g., company portal). When you create or access an account:

• You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials
• You are responsible for all activities that occur under your account
• You must provide accurate and complete information
• You must notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account

4. Company Listings

Free Listings

Pipl Systems may create company listings based on publicly available information. These listings are marked as "Unclaimed" and are provided as a service to the industry. Company representatives may claim and update their profile at any time.

Premium Listings

Premium listings offer enhanced features including video content, expanded profiles, and priority placement. Premium services are subject to separate subscription terms and payment agreements between the company and Pipl Systems.

Content Accuracy

While we strive to maintain accurate information, Pipl Systems does not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or reliability of any company listing. Companies are responsible for the accuracy of information in their claimed profiles.

5. Reviews

Users may submit reviews of listed companies. By submitting a review, you agree that:

• Your review is based on genuine experience with the company
• Your review is truthful and not misleading
• You will not submit fake, defamatory, or malicious reviews
• Your name and review content will be publicly visible on the Platform
• Your email address will be collected for verification purposes but will not be publicly displayed

Pipl Systems reserves the right to moderate, edit, or remove reviews that violate these guidelines, contain inappropriate content, or appear to be fraudulent. All reviews are subject to moderation before publication.

6. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use the Platform to:

• Submit false, misleading, or fraudulent information
• Impersonate any person or entity
• Harass, abuse, or harm other users or listed companies
• Scrape, crawl, or automatically collect data from the Platform without permission
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the Platform
• Upload malicious code, viruses, or harmful content
• Use the Platform for any illegal purpose
• Interfere with or disrupt the Platform's operation

7. Intellectual Property

The Platform, including its design, layout, text, graphics, logos, and software, is the property of Pipl Systems and is protected by intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, modify, or create derivative works from any content on the Platform without our prior written consent. Company logos and trademarks displayed on the Platform belong to their respective owners.

8. User-Generated Content

By submitting content to the Platform (reviews, company information, images, etc.), you grant Pipl Systems a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to use, display, reproduce, and distribute that content in connection with the Platform and our services. You represent that you own or have the necessary rights to submit such content.

9. Third-Party Content and Links

The Platform contains links to third-party websites and embedded content (including YouTube videos). Pipl Systems is not responsible for the content, privacy policies, or practices of third-party sites. Your interactions with third-party services are governed by their respective terms and policies.

10. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Platform is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. Pipl Systems does not warrant that the Platform will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure. We do not endorse, guarantee, or assume responsibility for any company listed on the Platform or any product or service advertised by listed companies.

11. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Pipl Systems shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Platform, including but not limited to damages resulting from reliance on information provided on the Platform, interactions with listed companies, or loss of data.

12. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Pipl Systems, its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses (including legal fees) arising from your use of the Platform, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any rights of another party.

13. Profile Removal

Company representatives may request removal of their listing by contacting us at i@pipl.systems. Pipl Systems reserves the right to remove any listing or user content at its discretion, including listings that violate these Terms or are reported as inaccurate.

14. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Province of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada applicable therein, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes arising from these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Ontario, Canada.

15. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated "Last updated" date. Your continued use of the Platform after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.
