ABC Fire & Burglar Alarm's founding story is embedded in the history of New Orleans's security industry. The founders previously built USA Fire & Burglar Alarm into the largest locally-owned security company in the New Orleans metropolitan area — a company they grew from the ground up before selling to ASG in 2012. ASG subsequently sold to Protection One, which sold to ADT, and the local company that the founders built eventually dissolved into a national chain. With their non-compete period complete, the same founders returned in 2012 to do exactly what they had done before: build the largest locally-owned security company in the New Orleans metro, this time under the ABC name — applying the same passion for affordable security and unbeatable local service that had made them the regional leader the first time.
