Integrated Technical Systems (ITS) began its Connecticut life in 1969 as Industrial Time and Systems — serving the time and attendance industry with the sales and service of time clocks. A decade of growth made ITS one of the largest time clock and attendance providers in Connecticut. The company's evolution continued when it began working with Fire-Lite Alarms from Hamden, CT in the mid-1970s, and simultaneously added parking access gates and revenue control systems at the request of Cincinnati Time Inc. ITS installed its first parking system in Bridgeport in 1977, establishing what would become one of the company's most distinctive capabilities: integrated parking and revenue control systems that most security companies do not offer. That 55-year journey from time clocks to fire alarms to parking to comprehensive systems integration is the origin story of Connecticut's leading multi-discipline technical integrator, now operating from Wallingford with regional offices in Massachusetts, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, Maryland, Georgia, and Florida.
