This customization allows you to tailor your security system to your specific needs and preferences. While the battery life may seem a bit short at a year and a half, there’s a solution. You can easily connect a 12-volt battery to ensure uninterrupted functionality.
NVRs: High-Quality Recording and More
Ajax is also introducing a new line of Network Video Recorders (NVRs). These devices are available in 8-channel and 16-channel options and offer top-notch recording quality at 4K resolution. It’s a compelling choice for those who demand the highest level of detail in their surveillance systems.
One thing to note is that the NVRs do not come with a Power over Ethernet (PoE) switch included. In future iterations, we hope to see this included, making camera connections even more straightforward. Nonetheless, these NVRs offer an RJ45 jack for direct connection to a PoE switch. A significant advantage of Ajax’s NVR is its compatibility with an innovative video wall feature, accessible through the Ajax application. This feature enables users to display images from multiple cameras simultaneously, enhancing the overall monitoring experience.
AI-Powered Cameras: A Game-Changer in Surveillance
Ajax introduced a remarkable advancement in surveillance technology during this event – cameras with built-in AI, known as Ajax Jet Spiral. This AI technology is a game-changer, offering advanced motion detection capabilities. These 4K cameras are an excellent match for the NVR, delivering high-quality footage that’s indispensable for any security application.
To install these cameras, simply connect them to a PoE switch that is then linked to your NVR. It’s a seamless process that ensures efficient integration into your security setup.
