Oleg Bordiian is an accomplished expert in the security systems industry, with a career spanning over 18 years. Starting in 2006 in Ukraine, Oleg began as a door-to-door sales representative, specializing in analog video surveillance systems. He quickly expanded his expertise by transitioning to security systems installation, where he gained practical experience in installing cameras, alarm systems, and access control solutions.
As his career progressed, Oleg took on leadership roles in business development and management. Among his notable achievements in Ukraine are:
- Vidimost.com: Co-owner and head of sales for this security systems distribution company, which included a portfolio of products from Dahua Technology.
- Pipl.ua: Founder and CEO of Ukraine’s leading online store for security systems from 2017 to 2022. Under Oleg’s guidance, the store became a market leader, generating annual revenues of up to $2 million. The project also launched an educational YouTube channel that amassed 50,000 subscribers.
In 2022, Oleg relocated to Canada, where he contributed as a content marketing producer at Inaxsys.com, a Canadian distributor of security systems. There, he created a library of over 300 technical videos and reviews for their YouTube channel, increasing its subscriber base to 4,500.
Since October 2023, Oleg has been the co-founder of Pipl Systems, a new venture he launched with his business partner, Jeremie Lusignan.
Oleg’s extensive expertise encompasses key areas of the security systems industry, including sales, installation, distribution, and procurement management. He has collaborated with both international and local manufacturers, building a robust network of industry professionals across Europe, North and Latin America, and Asia. A frequent attendee of major international exhibitions, such as CPSE (Shenzhen), Intersec (Dubai), IFSEC (London), ISC West (Las Vegas), ISC East (New York), GSX (Orlando), and Security Canada (Montreal, Toronto), Oleg stays at the forefront of industry trends.
With a solid foundation in technical engineering and additional business training from KMBS, Oleg is committed to sharing his knowledge and experience. His mission is to inspire and equip professionals in the security systems industry to create and grow successful projects.
